Our Post
From sponsoring veteran banners to coordinating Memorial Day programs, we strive to support veterans, their families and the communities they serve to protect. In November 2019, we celebrated our 30th anniversary of creating a local post in the Clifton Springs area. Though we currently do not have a post home, we are fortunate to have a designated room at the Clifton Springs Historical Society where rifles and uniforms are among the memorabilia on display. Members of the public are encouraged to visit, free of charge, and discover our not too distant past.
Despite being a relatively small post, we are mighty! VFW Post 44 takes pride in being a recipient of the National Outstanding Community Service Award. This is a prestigious designation recognizing our highly active involvement in the community.
